Terms and Conditions

1. Agency Status and Supplier Responsibility

Nicole Rotheram Travel operates as an independent travel consultant under Not Just Travel, a trading division of Hays Travel Limited (ABTA K9413).

Your holiday will be booked with the relevant supplier(s), and your contract will be with that supplier. Nicole Rotheram Travel acts as an agent on behalf of those suppliers.

Your booking is subject to the suppliers’ terms and conditions. Should you wish to cancel or make any changes to your booking, these will be subject to their terms and conditions. This means you may be subject to loss of deposit and further fees, if they apply.

A copy of the relevant terms and conditions will be provided with your confirmation paperwork.

The supplier is responsible for the provision of the travel services. Nicole Rotheram Travel accepts no liability for the acts, omissions or errors of third-party suppliers.

Once your booking has been confirmed, you will have access to your booking online within 72 hours via the Not Just Travel Portal. Please check your booking details carefully. Any changes that need to be made must be notified within 48 hours of receipt, or charges may apply.

2. Package Travel Regulations & Financial Protection

If your booking constitutes a package holiday, it will benefit from protection under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

If you add further travel elements at a later date, these may not form part of your original package and may not benefit from the same financial protection.

The regulations came into effect on 1st July 2018 and are designed to give consumers more protection when booking holidays.

Please note, if you choose to book your flights separately, the booking will not be covered under ATOL protection arranged through Not Just Travel. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate financial protection for any independently booked elements of your trip.

3. Price & Availability

All prices are live and subject to change and availability.

Facilities shown are based on high season and may vary depending on how busy the property is. Images may not always be the most up to date, as they are automatically provided by suppliers to meet copyright requirements. Room views, sizes and layouts can vary.

4. Payments

Bank Transfer

A secure payment link will be sent if you wish to pay by bank transfer.

Card Payment

Credit and Debit card payments are accepted. A secure payment link will be sent. Please check with me if your card provider is accepted. Please note, AMEX is not accepted.

Direct Debit

Terms and conditions – If your payments fail or are rejected by your bank, your booking will revert to the usual 14/16 weeks before departure and this may put your holiday at risk of being cancelled. If at any point you feel you cannot keep up with the payments, or need to make changes to your bank account, please contact me as soon as possible.

During the payment section, I will confirm with you the payment amounts and what payment options are available. Once you have agreed these, you will receive an email confirming the Direct Debit has been set up.

Direct Debits can be added to bookings departing outside of 19 weeks.

Balance due dates are generally 14 (or 16) weeks before departure, and this will be fully explained on your booking summary. Please note, some cruise bookings are 18/20 weeks prior to departure.

When paying by Direct Debit, balance due dates are 6 weeks before departure.

5. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements

If you are a UK adult passport holder visiting an EU country or Schengen zone country, your passport should have a ‘date of issue’ less than 10 years before the date you arrive.

You should consult the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) website to check specific passport and entry requirements for the country you are visiting.

Please check the entry requirements for the country you are visiting as you will be required to obtain your own VISA/ESTA if applicable.

It is your responsibility to ensure your passport is valid and in date.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you obtain appropriate travel insurance and medical cover.

Under the terms and conditions of most suppliers, all passengers must have adequate travel insurance to travel.

For cruise bookings, please ensure that your policy covers cruise travel, all the countries you are visiting and meets the insurance requirements of the cruise line.

7. Health, Vaccinations & Special Requirements

You will need to check about any vaccinations you may personally require. You should consult your GP, a travel health clinic or appropriate medical professional prior to travel.

As the lead passenger, you will be responsible for all people in your party and ensuring they are aware of this information.

Please advise of any medical or dietary requirements for the party at the time of booking.

8. Additional Charges & Airline Requirements

The following is not included in the price and may result in an additional charge at the hotel: local taxes/resort fees, deposit, safe, air-conditioning and WIFI.

Unless specified, allocation of seats may cost extra and are not included in this quote.

Some airlines require online check-in and for you to present a printed or mobile boarding pass, otherwise an additional charge may apply for airport check-in.
